Deborah Meissner, DNP, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Mental health care should feel personal, supportive, and grounded in who you are. I provide thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults, with a special interest in helping young people and their families navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and challenges at school.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. I take the time to listen, understand the whole person, and work together to develop a treatment plan that fits your needs, your goals, and your life.
Whether you are seeking help for yourself or your child, you don't have to navigate it alone.

Services
Personalized Care, From Evaluation to Treatment
I offer comprehensive psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and adults, with care tailored to each individual's needs.
-
A thorough evaluation is the first step toward understanding what is happening and why. I take time to listen to your concerns, explore your history and strengths, and develop a clear understanding of the challenges you are experiencing.
-
Together, we will create an individualized treatment plan based on your goals, preferences, and needs. Treatment may include education, behavioral strategies, therapy recommendations, lifestyle approaches, medication, or a combination of these.
-
When medication is appropriate, I provide thoughtful, evidence-based medication management with ongoing monitoring and adjustments as needed. I believe medication decisions should be collaborative and carefully tailored to each individual.
-
I offer both telehealth and in-person appointments, providing flexible options for accessing psychiatric care.
Your Partner in Mental Health
Effective psychiatric care begins with a trusting relationship where you feel heard, respected, and understood.
As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I bring a thoughtful and holistic approach to evaluation and treatment. I recognize that every person is more than a diagnosis, and that mental health concerns can affect the entire family. When working with children and adolescents, I believe in partnering with both the young person and their caregivers while honoring each child's unique strengths, personality, and experiences.
I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where people of all ages can feel comfortable talking about difficult things. My goal is not simply to treat symptoms, but to help each person move toward greater confidence, resilience, and well-being.
